Montelle Winery is located atop Osage Ridge just one and a half miles east of Augusta, Missouri. It commands a magnificent view of the Missouri River Valley, the Village of Augusta and the surrounding farms and vineyards. Montelle Winery is a combination of Montelle Vineyards, founded in 1970, and Osage Ridge Winery, founded in 1984. The present owner and winemaker, Tony Kooyumjian, acquired the winery in 1998 making it part of Augusta Wine Co.

Winner of numerous awards, Montelle has achieved fame for its superb dry and semi-dry table wines. These wines include Seyval, Chardonel, Vignoles and red wines such as Chambourcin and Norton. They are also noted for their German-style white wines, fruit wines, rich dessert wines, and ports. Utilizing a state-of-the-art still purchased from Germany, Montelle is able to produce a variety of brandies/eau de vies on site as well. Their Cherry Eau de Vie and Peach Eau de Vie have consistently received high marks and gold medals.

Montelle Winery features a tasting room, gift shop, a variety of meats and cheeses, café, outside terrace seating, covered seating, and indoor seating for winter months. Klondike Café, located in Montelle’s tasting room, offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, pizzas, and fresh baked breads April – November. Fresh baked pizza and soups are available the remainder of the year. Montelle Winery is available for private events, corporate events, and weddings.
