Greg and Christine Edmund began their journey when they purchased their home in 2016. The property included 10 acres that was partially planted with grapes. Greg’s background is multifaceted. He is a Consultant in computer programming, and he writes technical and analytical code. Managing, planting and harvesting grapes, making, storing and selling wine was to say the least, a step out of Greg’s wheelhouse and comfort zone.
Ralph Waldo Emerson stated, "Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow."
Fast forward to 2019… a dream and a business is born. A tasting room has been constructed, grapes have been planted, harvested, processed and thousands of bottles of wine is aging to perfection!
Greg and Christine have a dedicated focus on supporting not only Missouri, but to also support the local Four States Small Businesses and Farm to Table Communities.
It is important to be aware of not only what we consume, but where did it come from, how was it grown, how was it raised and how was it processed? It is important to be a part of the change that you want to see in the world. It is the ultimate responsibility and goal of a winemaker to take the fruit, get it in to the bottle in its most natural and purest expression and process.
