What’s better than visiting Missouri wine country? Being rewarded for it. The Missouri Winery Visitors Program (MVP) is your ticket to adventures in Missouri wine country and cool rewards. Since the program started in September 2016, more than 9,000 people have joined MVP and made more than 88,000 visits to Missouri wineries.
There was just one glitch. Set to expire on December 31, 2019, the end was in sight for this popular rewards program, so we polled our MVP members and their responses were overwhelming. We knew there was only one thing we could do.
MVP has been extended through December 31, 2020! That means you have more time to earn points and redeem them for rewards, including the ultimate Missouri wine fan experience – the MVP Cellar Master Celebration on Saturday, April 18, 2020. This incredible evening, featuring fabulous food and award-winning wines, takes place in the historic river town where the Missouri wine industry began – Hermann. The deadline to qualify for this event is February 1, 2020.
What is the new deadline to enter MVP tickets and redeem them? With the program extension, you will have until 11:59 p.m. CST on December 31, 2020 to enter your tickets. Points must be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. CST on March 1, 2021, otherwise they will expire.
MVP Points Reset Starting September 1, 2019, visits to Missouri wineries will count as first-time visits again. For example, if you visited ABC Winery before September 1, 2019, your visit to the winery after that date will count as a first time visit again. You will not lose any of your existing points, after all, you've earned them.
