Look Behind the Label at Beckett’s Winery All Steel Red. This winery and their labels incorporate beautiful, real-life images with their town and its history! All Steel Red

Beckett’s Winery gets inspiration from their own surroundings. The All Steel Red is the perfect example of how they are doing that. The All Steel Red is named after and features the first all-steel bridge in the world, which was built in Glasgow, Missouri in 1878-1879.

In 1877, the plan was to build a bridge across the Missouri River in Glasgow. It would be the first large all-steel bridge in the world. In May 1878 construction started and when completed in June 1879, a dedication was held, and over 7,000 people attended. The original bridge served until the early 1900’s when it had to be replaced. None the less, Beckett’s Winery recognizes every aspect of the uniqueness of Glasgow in their wines!

This wine is a Chambourcin blend - smooth, with notes of blackberry jam and includes flavors of luscious blackberry jam with a slight earthy scent and a dry, smooth finish.

Beckett's Winery is situated on the bank of the Missouri River in Glasgow, Missouri. When visiting try some of their food and enjoy your wine on the river view deck! Also try out their group wine tasting experience with cheese and snacks to pair!

Beckett’s Winery strives to represent Missouri hospitality and is a great winery to visit if you are in search of a true Missouri experience!
