Historic Route 66 – 5 Course Wine Pairing Dinner
Spend a spring afternoon along Historic Route 66 with a guided wine and food experience in the heart of the Ozark Highlands.
On Sunday, April 19th at Noon, the Meramec River Wine Trail will host a special five-course wine pairing dinner at the Old Rosati Winery Museum (Tutte le Cose Rosati) near St. James, Missouri. This unique event brings together five wineries from the region, each presenting a featured wine paired with a thoughtfully prepared course.
Guests will enjoy a progressive tasting experience featuring:
Appetizer Hour:
Eagles’ Landing Winery – Pet Nat
paired with Arancini
Course Two:
St. James Winery – Seyval Blanc
paired with Smoked Trout Bruschetta
Course Three:
Peaceful Bend Vineyard – Red Moose Aloha
paired with Blanched Asparagus & Raclette Cheese
Course Four:
Spencer Manor Winery – Norton
paired with Braised Beef & Root Vegetables
Course Five:
Prairie Barn Winery – River Inn Red
paired with Italian Easter Pie
Each guest will also receive a Meramec River Wine Trail Route 66 collector glass as part of the experience.
This special dinner takes place at the historic Old Rosati Winery Museum, located along Route 66 just outside St. James, surrounded by the vineyards and rolling countryside of the Ozark Highlands AVA.
