Red Wine + Beef = Perfection

May is Beef Month and it’s time to celebrate one of America’s favorite foods! Beef is incredibly versatile, but one thing that never changes is that wine pairs perfectly with it. Try out this Red Wine Glace to elevate your next steak night!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 shallot, finely minced 
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp of garlic 
  • ¼ cup Chambourcin 
  • ½ cup beef bone broth
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Steak  

Instructions: 

  1. Sauté shallot, mushrooms, and garlic in olive oil. 
  2. Add Chambourcin and reduce by half. 
  3. Stir in beef bone broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce. 
  4. Whisk in butter, heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper to taste. 
  5. Pour over your steak and enjoy!
