Les Bourgeois Vineyards
Known for its spectacular bluff-top view of the Missouri River, Les Bourgeois Vineyards is one of mid-Missouri’s premier cultural and recreational attractions. A family owned and operated winery, Les Bourgeois offers visitors a taste of internationally award-winning wines, exquisite bistro cuisine and beautiful scenery—conveniently located just one mile off of I-70, midway between Kansas City and St. Louis.
The vineyards at Les Bourgeois produce native cultivars such as Norton and Catawba, along with various French hybrid grapes and the exciting new award-winner, Chardonel. Les Bourgeois produces the full range of dry to sweet white, red and blush wines ranging from $9-$25, and features an annual limited release of “Collector’s Series” wines, which retail in the upper $20s.
Les Bourgeois’ Blufftop Bistro offers a memorable dining experience during lunch and dinner year-round, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-9, and Sunday, 11-3. The bistro’s beautiful timber-frame structure and floor-to-ceiling windows provide an unparalleled venue for appreciating the awesome beauty of Missouri’s changing seasons or celebrating special occasions.
On the adjacent bluff, you can sample wines, bring a picnic or purchase Les Bourgeois’ signature “picnic for two” at the original A-frame tasting room daily, April-November. Winery tours, as well as volume wine discounts, souvenirs and gifts are available at the winery and gift shop located right off of I-70 at the Rocheport exit.
